Job Title: Early Careers & Skills Development Senior Associate (Inclusive Learning)

Salary: £28,420 – £33,940 Dependent on experience
What You’ll Be Doing
- The purpose of the role is to co-ordinate the support and administrative activities of learning support requirements for early careers and skills
- Support site inclusive learning officers with duties relating to learning support requirements for apprenticeships
- Provide advice and guidance on the application of inclusive learning practices, procurement of assistive technologies/resources, and monitor the learning support review process across the early careers and skills provision
- Be responsible for completing needs assessments writing learning support plans for a caseload of apprentices that require additional learning support in order to sustain and achieve their apprenticeship
Essential
Your skills and experiences:
- Comprehensive experience of initial assessment or primary contact with apprentices in order to elicit sensitive and personal information in a safe and supportive atmosphere.
- Experienced in conducting meetings and small audit checks within an education and training environment
- Minimum Level 2 in maths and English or GCSE 4/5 (Grade C)
- Level 2 or above qualification in Learning Support or equivalent
Desirable
- Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline
- Up-to-date occupational experience in learning support
- Evidence of ongoing professional development relating to inclusive learning support
