Job Title: Early Careers Practitioner (Graduates)
Location: Guildford
Salary: £44,045 – 48,000 Dependent on experience
What You’ll Be Doing
- Acting as subject matter expert for the business and early careers population in relation to the Graduate and Undergraduate programmes across the Digital Intelligence
- Provide proactive advice, guidance and support on Graduate and Undergraduate programmes to both graduates and their line management
- Effectively engaging with key internal and external stakeholders required to co-ordinate delivery against Early Careers & Skills business outcomes and communicating key changes to relevant stakeholders as required
- Leading on forums and reviews (End-Point review) in-line with program requirements ensuring effective input from key stakeholders and timely completion
- Delivering Induction Programmes (face to face and virtually) of the highest standard for new starters, which serve to motivate, inspire and welcome them to our business and deliver the relevant tools of the job which will enable a smooth transition into their role
- Ensuring effective delivery of Graduate End Point Review process and transition off programme and Undergraduate end of placement processes
- Effective reporting of service performance, producing regular reports and updates.
- Ensuring recruitment and selection process is fully supported to deliver a high calibre resource to the business

- Experience in working or leading on projects
- Highly motivated professional with experience of delivering excellence.
- Highly effective communicator, that is able to influence others and operationalise strategic objectives
- Strong and effective interpersonal skills
- Customer focused background with strong stakeholder management skills
- Ideally have experience of working in an Early Careers environment with an understanding of Graduate and Undergraduate programmes

The Early Careers Team
Employed within BAE Systems Shared Services you will be joining a team that delivers the Early Careers provision for BAE Systems Digital Intelligence. The team currently consists of the Team Manager, a Graduate Lead, and Apprenticeship Lead and a Coordinator with a requirement to expand the team to support a growing part of the business. The team is dispersed in different locations across the UK and whilst remote working is a key element to this role there is an expectation you will spend time in the office as required. Although the immediate team is relatively small you will be part of a wider community of and Early Careers professionals.
