Job Title: Early Careers & Skills Practitioner (IQA)

Salary: Up to £47,596
What you’ll be doing:
- You will carry out quality assurance activities within Early Careers programmes
- You will drive benchmark assessment practices that consistently meet awarding body requirements
- You will support curriculum design and material development of Early Careers programmes
- You will ensure the highest levels of quality and safety throughout all activities
- Monitor learner progress and performance in line with frameworks/ standards and legislative requirements to ensure occupational competence
- Develop coaches that are innovative thinkers and creative problem solvers
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Must have Verification award D34 or L&D 11 or D1 to be eligible for this role
- Engineering background
- Experience of Quality Assurance practices in line with Awarding Bodies/Sector Skills and Funding partners
Desirable:
- Teaching/ Learning background
- Understanding and Development of Meta Skills
- Have a broad, multi-functional focus, looking across the Early Careers portfolio of activity

The Early Careers Team:
Employed within BAE Systems Shared Services you will be joining a team that delivers the Early Careers provision for BAE Systems Naval Ships. This is a growing area with a record investment in our new Applied Shipbuilding Academy. This role will provide you with the opportunity to help shape the apprenticeship programmes.
