As an Employability Tutor/Trainer, you will deliver high-impact, interactive, and engaging employability training to both groups and individuals. Your workshops and 1–2–1 sessions will support participants to build practical job-search skills such as:
- CV writing
- Transferable skills analysis
- Effective job searching
- Digital skills
- Interview preparation
Your goal? To empower people to achieve and sustain meaningful employment.
Salary: £27,642, rising to £29,407, after 9-month probation
Location: This office-based role requires flexibility to work between our Accrington and Blackburn offices.
Hours: Mon-Fri (9-5pm)

What You’ll Be Doing
- Delivering face-to-face and virtual employability workshops, as well as tailored 1–2–1 tutored sessions
- Designing and selecting facilitation methods and activities that support participants in developing realistic career goals
- Managing and motivating participants in group environments, promoting engagement and positive learning experiences
- Working closely with operational teams to deliver impactful training solutions such as mock interviews, "how-to" sessions, and work-readiness activities
- Meeting personal performance targets, KPIs, and quality standards by delivering high-quality, compliant provision
- Providing advice, guidance, and constructive challenge to help participants build confidence and job-search capability
- Building positive relationships with employers, Jobcentre Plus teams and other stakeholders to support smooth programme delivery
What You’ll Need

- Experience delivering high-impact, engaging group training sessions
- A background in a customer-focused, results-driven environment
- Experience providing 1-to-1 support or coaching, with the confidence to challenge constructively
- A recognised teaching or training qualification (e.g., CELTA, PTLLS, ESOL) is ideal but not essential
