Lecturer - ESOL and Maths (16-18 Provision)
Hours: 28 per week
Salary: £30,402 - £41,151 - to be pro rated
Location: Altrincham
The Trafford College Group (TCG) has an opportunity for an ESOL and Maths tutor to join their 16 - 19 delivery team, working alongside the Adult team that deliver Maths, English, ESOL and Community learning. We are ideally looking for a self-starter with the experience and flexibility to be a valuable member of the team in its entirety. The post is primarily based at our Altrincham campus though will involve work at other sites.
The Role:
- Delivery to 16–19-year-olds.
- Teaching and Assessing ESOL at several levels, initially at E1 – E3.
- Teaching and Assessing Functional Maths to ESOL learners at Entry level.
- Using a range of traditional delivery methods alongside strong digital skills which you would pass on to learners.
- Involvement in the whole assessment process from Initial Assessment to the IQA Process.
The experience, ability and flexibility to work with Adult learners, deliver the full range of ESOL from Pre-Entry up to Level 2 and Maths up to GCSE Level are desirable.
