About The Role
Swansea Universitys HR Team has an exciting opportunity for an L&D Professional to join their HR community. You will be a specialist in learning and development and will provide the day-to-day management of the L&D portfolio, managing all aspects of people development from learning needs analysis through to design, delivery and evaluation.
With the gravitas and credibility to engage with all levels of people within the University, you will manage, review and improve the planning, delivery and organisation of learning. Using key management information you will conduct analysis and create insights to support the University in measuring progress and impacts of L&D activities and evolving learning needs.
Confident and credible in your approach you will maximise the use of technology for learning design and delivery, increasing the accessibility and cost-effectiveness of learning programmes, as well as individual ownership for learning. You will be highly innovative, continuously looking to improve processes, drive efficiencies and deliver novel, innovative and engaging approaches to learning that follows best practice. You will ensure that our learning and development delivery has a positive and measurable impact on University outcomes.
Strong relationships underpin everything that you do, and you will be accomplished at developing partnerships with leaders, research managers, researchers and colleagues across the University.
You must have extensive experience in learning and development and people management within a complex environment with demonstrable understanding of what a high performing, modern learning function looks like.
This is a great role to make your own and have a positive impact on the performance of the University and its people.
