We have some exciting opportunities available at Barking and Dagenham College. We are looking for a Lead Administrator to join our Administration team.
You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis and in return, we will offer a competitive salary of £27,590 - £29,761 per annum (inc of London Weighting)
The Lead Administrator role:
To organise and co-ordinate administration activities related to curriculum activity including but not limited to attendance monitoring and recording, ensuring sufficient cover across curriculum areas; supporting the Assistant Principal with administration duties; responding to general queries from individuals; carrying out risk assessments; communicating with key stakeholder organisations and with internal BDC curriculum areas and business support teams.
Key Responsibilities of our Lead Administrator:
- Implement, maintain and where necessary further develop administrative systems and processes to ensure curriculum requirements are met.
- Support curriculum teams and ensure excellent levels of administrative support are coordinated and delivered.
- Manage the attendance monitoring process and act as a key contact for liaisons with internal staff in relation to student attendance.
Our ideal Lead Administrator should have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
- Qualified to at least L3 equivalent (E)
- 5 GCSE’s Grade A-C Must include English and Maths or functional equivalent (E)
- Experience of general administrative duties and supervising a team (E)
