Our highly valued Learning Disability Services for adults include Respite, Community Support, Day Services, Supported Employment, Shared Lives and Supported Accommodation with all CQC registered services having ‘Good’ ratings.
As Compliance Officer you will monitor and support services to achieve and maintain good to outstanding Care Quality Commission ratings. You will also monitor health and safety across services and work with service managers and their teams on quality improvement initiatives.
This role sits within the Development Team who work together to support managers and staff teams to provide the best services for clients.
We are looking for candidates who:
Are approachable, compassionate and kind. Are confident to challenge practice and ask questions. Have outstanding knowledge of the Care Quality Commission, Health and Social care policy and practice, and have service management experience. Are able to work autonomously or as part of a team. Are passionate about supporting services to grow, develop and strive for outstanding outcomes. The successful candidate will work across the county, therefore will need to travel on a regular basis.
The post is for 37 hours per week, with an expectation that the successful candidate is able to work flexibly to suit the needs of the service.
This role involves being part of the out of hours on call rota, where you’ll offer telephone support to our 24/7 Learning Disability Services. An additional payment is made for these duties.
