Business Development Advisor

As a Business Development Advisor, you will actively pursue and develop partnerships with employers to successfully meet sales targets relating to apprenticeships. You will work closely with the Business Development Manager to ensure employer engagement matches the curriculum offer and sales are closely aligned with College’s key priorities and assessor caseloads.
Main Responsibilities
- Meet sales targets for enrolments and income generation, aligning sales with College priorities and assessor caseloads.
- Respond to web/phone enquiries and follow up on all sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to research business development opportunities.
- Effectively market employer engagement programs and update sales literature to match the college's image.
- Contribute to the development of a cohesive and targeted sales and marketing campaigns.
- Attend networking events and meetings to promote the College and Business Development Centre services.

Essential Criteria
- Previous experience of working in an FE or Apprenticeship provider
- Good understanding of sales techniques likely to be successful with employers
- Clean driving licence and use of own vehicle
- Experience in managing apprenticeship systems such as DAS
- Experience of completing employer premised Health and Safety checks
- A proven track record of delivering to targets
- Track record of delivering excellent customer service and achieving high levels of customer satisfaction
- Level 3 qualification, or equivalent, or other appropriate industrial/ commercial qualification, plus evidence of continued professional development
