Variable hours Contract | £15.17 to £16.25 per hour (Scale G) | Norwich
Due to an expanding Apprenticeship department, an exciting role has become available within the Public Services Curriculum Apprenticeship Team for individuals to support and mentor Apprentices. Working across sector of Countryside.
If you have occupational experience within this area, we want to hear from you! Successful applicants will be working with apprentices aged 16+ supporting them throughout their Apprenticeship programmes.
Working on 1-1 basis as well as group sessions, we are looking for multi skilled professionals that can bring flair and development to the Countryside Worker Curriculum area.
Mentoring skills will be an essential requirement to drive progression and achievement along with sound organisational attributes.
This is a Norfolk based position and therefore travel across the county will be expected to carry out face to face learner visits. This is a highly rewarding role that supports individuals through their learning journey and be part of a professional and award-winning service.
Experience of working with Apprentices is desirable but not essential as full training will be given. Having industry experience within Countryside Worker is essential.
You will need experience in;
- Building and repairing a variety of field boundaries
- Maintaining public rights of way
- Improving habitats and woodland
- Surveying/monitoring habitats and flora and fauna
