As a Clinical 111 Pathways Trainer you will instill confidence in our colleagues by delivering high-quality NHS 111 Clinical Pathways accredited training and other training. You will also work collaboratively with the Pathways Training Manager and other team members to develop training material and provide guidance to support contact centre staff with new initiatives.
Main duties of the job
Principle Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:-
- Assist with the Clinical 111 Pathways Training sessions this is to include the training of new starters along with Clinical Core Module Two.
- Assist with the development of training material and guidance to actively develop the skill set of Clinical Advisors, Health Advisors, Service Advisors and other IUC staff members when required.
- To deliver Spotting the Sick child and Sepsis Awareness training sessions
- To be a qualified Pathways Accredited Trainer and keep up to date with and implement new initiatives.
- To assist with the development of training material and guidance to support contact centre staff with new initiatives.
- To support the understanding of Standard Operating Processes throughout HUC and inform IUC Managers of any changes required
- Respond to identified additional training needs from audit results and IUC Management feedback.
- To assist with any further training that may be required by the IUC Management Team.
- To participate in own development and appraisal, identifying areas of need for personal development and ensure a comprehensive knowledge of the services provided is maintained at all times by performing operational shifts or attending operational bases.
