This is an excellent opportunity for a Business Development professional with experience in apprenticeships or training to join a vibrant, high-performing sales team based in Leeds City Centre, where collaboration, support and success go hand in hand. The Role As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for generating new apprenticeship starts, building strong employer relationships, and achieving agreed activity and revenue targets. You'll work closely with employers to understand their workforce needs and recommend training solutions that deliver genuine impact. This is a consultative, new-business-focused sales role, combining proactive prospecting with account management and cross-selling across a broad portfolio of training solutions. You'll be supported by an experienced leadership team, with clear structures, realistic expectations and highly achievable targets.Key Responsibilities
Achieve agreed activity and billing targets within a supportive and structured sales environmentGenerate apprenticeship starts through proactive outbound sales activityBuild and maintain strong employer relationshipsCross-sell apprenticeship and training solutions where appropriateEnsure all eligibility, onboarding and compliance processes are followedMaintain accurate, high-quality data within the CRM systemAbout You Essential experience and skills:A proven track record of exceeding sales and revenue targetsA natural new-business hunter with a strong appetite for prospectingExperience within the apprenticeship or training sector is highly desirable, although related sectors will be consideredConfidence in telephone-based business development and relationship buildingExperience working with both new and existing B2B clientsA strong customer-focused approach and genuine passion for salesThis role suits someone who enjoys being part of a positive, energetic sales culture, where effort is recognised and success is shared.
