This is a rare opportunity for a commercially experienced Electrical Installation / Maintenance Electrician to move into education and pass on real-world knowledge to the next generation of engineers. FULL TRAINING PROVIDED

You’ll join an established training team delivering high-quality apprenticeship and commercial electrical courses across Hull, Grimsby and Scunthorpe.

The Role

Deliver practical and classroom-based electrical training to apprentices and adult learners
Support learners through their technical development and assessments

Deliver commercial courses including:

C&G 18th Edition
C&G 2391 (Inspection & Testing)
Basic Electrical Maintenance
PAT Testing
Use your industry background to bring learning to life
Work closely with fellow instructors to maintain high training standards

This is a hands-on, people-focused role where your experience directly shapes careers.

What We’re Looking For

5+ years’ commercial / industrial electrical experience
Strong craft and fault-finding skills
Confident communication and people skills
Basic IT capability

Experience in:

Containment installations
First and second fix
Inspection and testing
Certification (EIC, EICR, Minor Works) to BS7671 and GN3 standards

Essential:

Electrical apprenticeship or City & Guilds Level 3

Current or former JIB card holders are welcome. We would also like to hear from veterans

Location & Travel

Regular travel across Hull, Grimsby and Scunthorpe.

A full UK driving licence and your own vehicle are essential - travel costs paid for.

Salary & Benefits:

If you don’t hold a teaching qualification, it will be fully funded and supported. You’ll complete this in your own time with guidance throughout.
