Standard working hours are Monday to Thursday 8:00am – 4:15pm and Friday 8:00am – 4:00pm, with flexibility required to meet the needs of the role.
The Business Relationship Manager – Apprenticeships & Engineering TrainingRole
This is a key commercial role responsible for driving sales and employer engagement activity across West Yorkshire (Selby through Leeds to Sheffield).
The Business Relationship Manager – Apprenticeships & Engineering Training will take ownership of your own territory, managing a pipeline of opportunities, building long-term partnerships, and delivering a first-class consultative sales experience to employers across engineering and manufacturing sectors.
What the Business Relationship Manager – Apprenticeships & Engineering Training Will Be Doing
- Managing and developing a pipeline of opportunities to achieve personal sales targets
- Building strong, long-term relationships with employers and key accounts
- Delivering engaging sales presentations and proposals to prospects and clients
- Attending meetings with employers, stakeholders, and industry contacts
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date CRM records of all activity
- Gathering and sharing market intelligence to support business strategy
- Supporting and attending events, exhibitions, open days and promotional activities
- Contributing to team activity, meetings and wider organisational initiatives
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in business development, key account management, or employer engagement
- Strong consultative sales skills and ability to influence at all levels
- Confident presenting and building credibility with clients
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and commercially aware
- Comfortable managing your own territory in a home-based role
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
Experience in a similar role and sector would be a distinct advantage.
You’ll ideally be based centrally within West Yorkshire, given the regional coverage of the role.
