York College is looking for a Sales & Account Manager (Apprenticeships) to lead our apprenticeship growth strategy and strengthen relationships with employers across the region.
What you’ll do:
• Drive apprenticeship sales growth through strategic employer engagement and innovative sales strategies.
• Manage key employer accounts, ensuring exceptional service and long-term partnerships.
• Develop and implement a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools to meet and exceed targets.
• Collaborate with curriculum teams to align apprenticeship offerings with industry needs.
• Represent York College at events and forums to raise the profile of our apprenticeship provision.
What we’re looking for:
• Proven experience in sales and meeting targets, ideally within apprenticeships or education.
• Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to influence at all levels.
• Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to identifying new opportunities.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and IT skills.
• Knowledge of the FE sector and apprenticeship funding would be desirable.

Interview process
We want to be transparent about our interview process and timescales. Shortlisted candidates will first be invited to a 30 minute informal Microsoft Teams call on Friday 22nd May. Following this, successful candidates will be asked to submit a short video response on a specific topic (to be confirmed) by 26th May. Videos will be reviewed and, from this, a final shortlist will be selected and invited to a formal interview on 4th June. As we will be progressing candidates at each stage, feedback and decisions will be made promptly to meet our tight timelines and we will not be able to consider requests for changes to these dates.
