Position: Senior Construction Assessor
Where: Glasgow, Scotland
Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00am – 17:00pm, or aligned to the demands and objectives of the role
Salary: £41,600 + Car Allowance
This pivotal role is all about supporting our learners to achieve their chosen construction apprenticeship or qualification, to support the learners to develop skills within the employer workplace and build a successful career. Making sure every external stakeholder contract requirement are met as required and compliance with awarding bodies regulations. Building relationships and solving problems with learners and employers.
Experience/Qualifications/Licenses/Competencies
(holding or working towards is a distinct advantage)
- Experience of construction at senior management level
- Hold S/NVQ construction senior management or construction qualifications
- Minimum 3 years in construction senior management
- Assessor qualification ( or willing to work towards)
- A driving license holder
- Full five-year checkable employment history including a minimum of 2 work references, a personal credit check and right to work in the UK
- Relevant other qualifications welcome
- Can evidence job success in a similar role

Key Responsibilities
- Planning and programming own workload to suit the delivery needs of the customer and the company.
- Liaising with candidate’s line management where required and ensure that the learner has a clear understanding of how to progress within the award.
- Arranging assessment visits as required to meet the needs of the company and the needs of the learners.
- Preparing and uploading all evidence to “the learning portal”
- Delivering inductions as per company and awarding body requirements
- Storing all associated assessment/progress reports and induction documentation in the appropriate files in “the learning portal”
- Completing assessment reports and review documentation to funding and award body requirements
- Assessing learner evidence and provide guidance and feedback.
- Providing Information advice and guidance to suit the needs of the learners.

- Deliver qualifications that impact the careers of candidates and develop the skills requirements of customers
- Provide all candidates with an exceptional learning experience that reflects their aspirations and learning requirements.
- Support all relevant statutory and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Comply with any HOW we do business manual/s relevant to the role to hold a deep understanding of process.

- Submit any requested reports to your Line Manager for support, coaching and review
