The Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Technical Trainer/Tester to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training courses, developing engaging training materials, and conducting assessments to ensure our learners meet the required industry standards, always keeping Health and Safety as a priority. ?
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver technical training courses to diverse groups of learners
- Design, develop, and update training materials and course content
- Conduct examinations and assessments in accordance with awarding body requirements
- Invigilate examinations and ensure compliance with testing protocols
- Assess learner performance and provide constructive feedback
- Maintain accurate training records and documentation
- Support the continuous improvement of our training programmes

Essential Requirements
- Proven experience in delivering technical training courses
- Demonstrated ability in creating and developing training materials
- Previous experience as an examinator and/or invigilator
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to engage and motivate learners of varying abilities
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Commitment to maintaining professional standards

Qualifications
- Relevant MJI/TMJI/OSM background and qualifications
- Desired/not essential – Site based experience
- Desired/ not essential - Level 3 teacher training and assessor’s award
- Desire/not essential - Relevant Mechanical qualifications
