The Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Technical Trainer/Tester to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training courses, developing engaging training materials, and conducting assessments to ensure our learners meet the required industry standards, always keeping Health and Safety as a priority. ?

Key Responsibilities

Deliver technical training courses to diverse groups of learners
Design, develop, and update training materials and course content
Conduct examinations and assessments in accordance with awarding body requirements
Invigilate examinations and ensure compliance with testing protocols
Assess learner performance and provide constructive feedback
Maintain accurate training records and documentation
Support the continuous improvement of our training programmes

Essential Requirements

Proven experience in delivering technical training courses
Demonstrated ability in creating and developing training materials
Previous experience as an examinator and/or invigilator
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to engage and motivate learners of varying abilities
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Commitment to maintaining professional standards

Qualifications

Relevant MJI/TMJI/OSM background and qualifications
Desired/not essential – Site based experience
Desired/ not essential - Level 3 teacher training and assessor’s award
Desire/not essential - Relevant Mechanical qualifications
