About Role
As an Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) – Property Maintenance, you will play a critical role in maintaining and improving the quality of assessment and delivery across property maintenance programmes. Your responsibilities will include:
• Monitoring and supporting assessors to ensure consistent, high-quality assessment practice
• Conducting standardisation activities and sampling assessments in line with awarding body and regulatory requirements
• Providing constructive feedback, coaching, and development support to assessment staff
• Ensuring compliance with internal quality assurance processes, policies, and procedures
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and contributing to audit and inspection readiness
• Working collaboratively with delivery teams to uphold best practice and learner outcomes
Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will have:
• Occupational competency and strong industry experience in property maintenance or a related construction trade
• A recognised IQA qualification (e.g. TAQA, IQA unit, or equivalent)
• Experience quality assuring vocational qualifications or apprenticeships
• A thorough understanding of awarding body and regulatory requirements
• Strong communication, organisational, and coaching skills
• A proactive, detail-oriented approach with a passion for quality and development
