About the College
- Middlesbrough College is the largest General Further Education College in the Tees Valley and has been situated in Middlehaven, Middlesbrough, since 2008. It has developed from the initial main site to the vibrant campus that is now in place with our Campus Heart, dedicated Sixth Form, STEM Centre, Higher Education Centre, and further development for our apprentices in progress.

About the role
You will play an important role in the provision of staff learning and upskilling and workforce development point-of-contact services. The role holder will report to the Head of Workforce Development and have a frequent interaction with a diverse stakeholder group from across the Group.
Someone who can support a learning culture and environment that drives continuing professional development. You will deliver all aspects of workforce development, including devising, implementing, and delivering a broad range of training solutions that demonstrate ROI. This role will also support the College in the delivery of its Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and Staff Wellbeing strategy.
The successful candidate will have:
Qualifications
- Degree level educated (or equivalent experience).
- Personal commitment to Continuous Professional Development.
Desirable
- CIPD qualified.
- Qualified within an education, training, learning and development subject
Experience
Essential
- Proven experience as an L&D Business Partner or similar across a complex organisation.
- Proven experience in being a proactive driver of change.
- Sound judgement demonstrated by experience.
- Experience of designing, delivering, and implementing training and development programmes.
- Familiarity with e-learning and learning experience platforms and practices.
- High impact, engaging content creation using digital tools and software.
Desirable
- Experience of working in an educational establishment.
- Experience of project management relating to workforce development.
