About the College
- Middlesbrough College is the largest General Further Education College in the Tees Valley and has been situated in Middlehaven, Middlesbrough, since 2008. It has developed from the initial main site to the vibrant campus that is now in place with our Campus Heart, dedicated Sixth Form, STEM Centre, Higher Education Centre, and further development for our apprentices in progress.

About the role
The Tutor in Digital Skills/Admin will be responsible for the delivery of all training; they will contribute to the design and delivery model of learning programmes and assessments, working closely with learners to enable them to successfully achieve their qualifications. Areas for delivery will include: preparation for work, basic digital skills, employability and embedding Maths and English throughout. Tutors have a key role in developing learners to achieve their learning goals and inspire them to overcome barriers. As part of the Adult and Community Learning team you will be responsible for supporting individuals in finding sustainable employment. to sell.
The successful candidate will have:
Qualifications
- Minimum of Level 2 or above in an ICT qualification.
- Functional Skills Maths, English.
- Be working towards or hold a Teaching Qualification (PGCE)
- Be willing to work towards an Assessing Qualification (TAQA or Equivalent).
