About The Job
Job Purpose
To provide high quality, flexible training, learning, advice and assessment to students on Apprenticeships/Work Based Learning programmes in the workplace or on college sites. You will assist in the identification of potential candidates. You will be responsible for training, assessing and action planning for a caseload of candidates and be involved in the quality assurance of programmes. You will identify training needs and agree delivery plans with candidates/employers, delivering timely standards associated with the health sector.
- To train, support and assess students on workplace programmes to deliver high quality outcomes.
- To plan and prepare appropriate training documentation to support direct and online delivery leading to timely completion of Apprenticeship standards.
- Liaise with candidates and workplace supervisors to ensure convenient visit arrangements, either in College or on employers’ premises, as applicable.
About You
- Hold an Assessor Award (D32/33 or A1 or TAQA)
- Hold a professional qualification (e.g. diploma at Level 4 or above qualification in clinical health/care)
- Recognise and be prepared to work within a changing environment including employer facing activity
