About the role
We are seeking a proactive and motivated Skills Coach to oversee the delivery of our Apprenticeship programme at the Fashion Retail Academy.
The Skills Coach is responsible for the management and coordination of the specified programme(s) in accordance with the Fashion Retail Academy’s overall apprenticeship strategy. The Skills Coach is the constant point of contact for learners on the programme, and will provide on-going academic and pastoral support, in addition to client relations and reporting.
Working closely with the Apprenticeship Team, the Skills Coach will co-ordinate and manage the programme timetable, teaching materials and Associate Lecturers delivering the programme.
About you
- You will have a degree and significant experience in a vocational area.
- You will have a proven teaching track record.
- You will have a comprehensive and up-to-date understanding of the Apprenticeship Framework/Standard and assessment requirements.
- You will have Fashion Retail industry knowledge and experience in Retail Operation, Store Management and Buying & Merchandising.
- You will have management experience in an academic context and previous experience in a similar role.
- You will have the ability to incorporate theoretical models into industry scenarios / projects.You will have previous project management experience.
- The ability to lead and support the course team is essential for the role.
- You will have effective communication skills and good IT skills.

Salary
From £32,400 to £36,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience
