You will be responsible for supporting our current and new clients to put more people onto Corndel training programmes, explaining to new businesses the opportunities presented by the training tax, managing relationships with our most important customers, and helping mobilise new contracts.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven individual to join our team as a Senior Account Manager. The Senior Account Manager will play a critical role in managing and growing a portfolio of strategic key clients, driving revenue growth through customer retention, and building strategic relationships. the ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in account management, with demonstrated experience in building and maintaining strong client relationships, identifying upselling opportunities, and driving business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of strategic key accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for all client communication
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales and retention targets
- Actively build strong, long-lasting client relationships through regular communication and exceptional customer service
- Driving revenue growth by identifying and qualifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities within your existing client portfolio
- Stay up to date on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities
- Provide insights and recommendations to customer challenges
- Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams and manage internal stakeholders
- Take ownership of your pipeline management and track progress to target

Essential
Experience and Skills:
- A track record of high performance, preferably in an account management role or similar
- Experience engaging with and managing strategic relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
- Experience solving client challenges, providing end-to-end solutions to their problems
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proven ability to think strategically and develop and execute account plans to achieve sales targets and business objectives
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Strong written skills
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade key stakeholders
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software
Desirable
- Experience and knowledge of apprenticeships and funded training
