The role:
As the Marketing Director - B2C, you’ll lead and execute all of Corndel and CCL’s non-B2B marketing. This is a multi-faceted role and far from a traditional Higher Education B2C role. Responsibilities:
- Take the lead in the creation and execution of our learner attraction strategy for apprenticeships and degree apprenticeships. The marketing mix is anticipated to be rich in inspiring comms, content and events
- Own and drive learner communications, including overseeing the enrolment journey and nurturing potential learners
- Work with the Account Management team to produce content to support the prospective learner journey e.g. stories, videos, micro-sites, presentations
- Lead on Corndel College London (CCL) student marketing initiatives as the marketing partner to the Managing Director of CCL
- Own and drive the Corndel College London (CCL) brand voice. Own the CCL website and social channels
- Architect and implement Direct to Learner and Employee marketing campaigns for programmes and products where this is a viable tactic
- Design and own community and alumni network initiatives, including scoping and business casing potential opportunities
- Ensure that B2C / learner marketing support tickets are actioned in a timely and appropriate manner
- Beyond B2C, you’ll be the owner of non B2B Marketing, including scoping and executing opportunities for corporate communications and supporting the SLT with any public affairs initiatives as needed
- Champion brand management across Corndel. You’ll ensure rigorous and robust adherence to our brand values, personality and brandbook across both the Corndel and Corndel College London brands
- Ensure seamless alignment and integration with the wider B2B Marketing team and Business Development team
- Track and monitor performance, and analyse, review and report on the effectiveness of campaigns to maximise ROI
- Manage third party agencies and suppliers
About You:
- Minimum 7 years in marketing, ideally showcasing a track record in managing campaigns for employees and/or learners
- Strong communication and content skills, adept at transforming complex ideas into powerful narratives
- Excellent attention to detail in content creation, including decks and other materials
- Data-driven decision-maker with proficiency in tools like HubSpot
- Proven ability to juggle multiple projects seamlessly under tight schedules
- Balances creativity with practicality, consistently generating innovative marketing strategies
- Familiarity with website CMS platforms, especially WordPress
- Adept in strategic planning and hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment
What we are looking for:

- Expert multi-tasker, capable of managing various projects and stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Can-do attitude, comfortable in a scale-up entrepreneurial culture
- Strong copywriting and proofreading skills
- Creative thinker with a proven track record in creating engaging campaigns
- Brand ambassador with a flair for visually compelling content
- Desirable, but not essential, to have an understanding of The Office of Students and The Competition and Markets Authority requirements on the protection of students
