Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and passionate Apprenticeship Tutor to join the GLP Training educational team. This role involves delivering recruitment-related qualifications to apprentices, ensuring they gain the skills and knowledge required to excel in the recruitment industry. The tutor will be responsible for providing high-quality vocational training, assessing apprentice progress, and supporting learners through their apprenticeship journey.
- Design and deliver engaging and effective training sessions in recruitment practices and principles.
- Assess and review apprentice work, providing constructive feedback and guidance to ensure learning objectives are met.
- Monitor apprentice progress, setting goals and providing support to ensure they achieve their qualifications.
- Maintain accurate records of apprentice achievements and provide reports to educational coordinators and employers.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and relevance of the training material.
- Provide mentoring and support to apprentices, helping them apply their learning in practical, real-world recruitment scenarios.
You will inspire, motivate, support, and challenge your learners to
achieve and succeed in a timely manner, through monthly 121s.
· You will work with learners who have been identified as having
additional support needs and ensure that support is given, and all
paperwork is completed on a monthly basis.
· You will deliver sessions with passion and enthusiasm to enthuse your
learners to learn and apply learning beyond their qualification.
· You will keep your knowledge of the sectors you are delivering up to
date and log monthly relevant CPD to this end.
· You will work diligently towards maintaining the required service
delivery KPI’s in relation to milestone reviews, learner engagement &
progress.
· You will maintain up-to-date and accurate records of all learner work
submitted on our Bud System (learning platform) to ensure learners
remain engaged and we remain compliant.
· You will collaborate with our functional skills tutors for learners who
require functional skills to ensure these are completed within the
required deadlines. For those learners not requiring functional skills you
will work with them to continue to develop their maths & English Skills
on a monthly basis.
· You will embed the essential topics – H&D, E&D, Safeguarding, British
Values & Prevent into monthly interactions with learners.
· You will ensure that you complete any IQA actions in a timely manner
and work with your IQA to ensure the quality of your provision.
· You will attend regular team meetings and 121s.
· Other relevant duties as required.
Requirements -
A qualified Assessor (D32, D33, A1, TAQA, CAVA) – Desirable
Occupational background within Recruitment
Driving licence with own transport.
Competent using Microsoft packages including Word, Excel, Outlook
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £15,000.00-£17,500.00 per year
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
