The Quality and Compliance Coordinator will work to ensure the quality management, compliance, and procedures effectively meet the DWP/ESFA specifications as well as the specifications of our Prime Contractor. The Quality and Compliance Coordinator will monitor quality and compliance measures to evaluate staff performance and development needs. As such, the Quality and Compliance Coordinator will play an integral role in ensuring Workpays delivers a consistently high-quality programme for all participants.
Key Responsibilities
- Effectively monitor rigorous compliance and quality assessment processes
- Monitor contract specific quality improvement processes across delivery areas
- Identify and co-ordinate staff training based on compliance and quality findings
- Analysing MI data to highlight errors and trends
- Work with the Director of Excellence to plan and maintain the quality calendar
- Observe teaching, learning and assessment of participants to review quality of programmes
- Participate in contract holder meetings, training sessions, and standardisation training events
- Report quality and compliance findings to contract managers to inform staff reviews, appraisals
- Complete monthly reports to identify any risks to the company
- Coach and support front line teams to enable them to achieve and succeed in relation to their specific contracts
- Development and management of Quality Improvement Plans (QIPs), Self-Assessment Reports (SARs) and compliance action plans against specific contract areas
- Lead nominee for external and internal audit activity, striving for 100% achievement rate
- Weekly/monthly internal audits across learner files
- Participate in team meetings as required
General:
- Maintain an awareness of and actively follow and promote Company policies, including, but not limited to, Safer Recruitment, Data Protection, Information Security, Equal Opportunities, Health and Safety, Safeguarding, and Prevent
- Undertake any training as required by Company policy and take responsibility for professional development
- Other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager

Essential criteria
- Knowledge of contract Compliance regulatory framework evidence good quality of provision delivered
- Strong track record establishing and maintain productive relationships with partners and stakeholders
- Maths and English qualifications at GCSE C/Grade 4 or Functional Skills Level 2
- Full UK Driving Licence and access to vehicle
- Fluent in the English language
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- High-level communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- IT proficient with an ability to use Microsoft Office suite, particularly Outlook, Teams, Excel, SharePoint, Word, and PowerPoint
Desirable Criteria
- Experience meeting challenging contractual Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets
- Knowledge and understanding of the local labour market, sector skills gaps, local employment & skills provision, specialist support networks, and education & training providers
