Overview
We have a vacancy for a Performance Director, responsible for the pastoral care and progress of a year group. For teaching applicants, the ability to teach a subject for which we have an existing vacancy, as advertised on our website, would be an advantage; however, we have teaching and non-teaching Performance Directors in our academy, so we are open to non teaching applications and would be interested in what skills you can bring to the role, to ensure high quality safeguarding, care and learning are at our core. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to become more involved with students in a pastoral role as part of a wider team in engaging with our students and families. We will work closely with you to support your career goals and offer high-calibre CPD and opportunities for future promotion. We are looking for one thing in return: striving for excellence in everything we do.
Pastoral care is a real strength of the Misbourne and we continue to strengthen and expand the team, alongside a new dedicated Student Services area. We also have excellent mental health and well-being provision including a dedicated Mental Health and Well-being Lead for the school.
