Overview
We are looking to recruit experienced, qualified Tutor/Assessor to deliver Early Years Level 3 qualifications across the county of Buckinghamshire, via Apprenticeships and working alongside employers.
About Us
At Buckinghamshire Adult Learning, we provide inclusive learning opportunities to promote wellbeing and inspire people living or working in Buckinghamshire to achieve their potential. We are part of Buckinghamshire Council and the main provider of part-time learning opportunities for adults in the county.
We are an Ofsted Grade ‘Good’ training provider and are proud of our continued quality of teaching and learning and the work and support we provide to many.
Our Apprenticeship & Work Based Learning team offer a range of Apprenticeships and other work-based learning opportunities across several industries, for those young people just starting their career or for those who are upskilling to develop future career prospects and personal development. We offer qualifications in Business Administration, Customer Service, Accounting/Bookkeeping (AAT), Health and Social Care, Early Years, and Management; and usually run these in conjunction with the learner’s employer.
The Skills Development team offer qualifications from Entry Level to GCSE in various subjects, including but not limited to, English, Maths, Digital Skills and ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages). Within this department is also the LFA (Learning for All) provision where we run courses promoting skills and independence for those adults with learning difficulties and/or disabilities, and the Community Engagement team who work with job seekers and learners who may not generally access learning, holding courses from CV writing and interview skills to budgeting and confidence building.
Our Community Learning provision includes the Family Learning team, who work together with parents and carers, so they have more confidence with supporting their children at home; and the Learning for Personal Development team, who mostly offer non-accredited courses ranging from a variety of Languages and Fitness to Art, Floristry, Sewing, Pottery and a wide range of Creative Studies subjects.
If you have any skills that would make you a great fit to work with our Service, or if you have any hobbies or interests with the potential to teach, we would love to hear from you.
