- Lecturer, Travel and Tourism, 18.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. Thurrock Campus We are seeking a proactive and motivated individual to join the Department of Service Industries which has an expanding Travel and Aviation Curriculum area. The successful applicant will have industry experience and will teach across both travel and cabin crew qualifications. Candidate will need to hold a Level 2 & 3 in travel and preferably have some experience of cabin crew. A minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience is essential. Candidate must be Qualified Teacher/Tutor, Relevant industry experience, Previous experience of working with 16-19 year olds delivering a study programme that includes Tutorial and work experience support. Assessing qualifications would also be preferable. The post holder will ensure the needs of our learners come first and that every learner will be provided with opportunities to achieve their full potential within a safe, stimulating and supportive environment. You will be required to deliver high quality teaching and learning and you are expected to develop appropriate teaching techniques and materials which enable all learners to achieve their full potential and take account of educational initiatives.
