The HDA Programme Administration Coordinator provides support in the areas of student programme administration to all higher degree apprenticeship (HDA) programmes within the Division. Working closely with the HDA Programme Officer, colleagues in Global & Lifelong Learning (GLL), and other divisional and central services colleagues, the role holder ensures the smooth running of all HDA programme procedures across the Division to support an excellent student experience and help the Division deliver its strategies.
As a HDA Programme Coordinator you will:
- Ensure apprentice records, programmes databases and student data systems, are accurate and up to date in line with University policy and GDPR requirements
- Operationalise the annual timetable process for academic staff and apprentices, in order to facilitate the smooth running of the Division’s HDA programmes and modules
- Manage the assessment and examination processes of the Division’s HDA programmes, ensuring that all university and divisional policies are applied consistently
- Take a proactive role in developing and enhancing the administrative processes within the Division in line with changes to systems, ways of working and codes of practices, to ensure that the Division’s HDA programmes run smoothly
To be successful in this role you will have/be:
- Educated to GCSE in English & Maths (Grade C/4 or above) or equivalent
- Experience of using spreadsheets and databases on a regular basis
- Experience of using and managing data in line with GDPR and handling sensitive matters with discretion
- Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to communicate clearly and accurately with a wide range of people (internal and external)
