As
Staffordshire's largest adult education provider, we are thrilled to announce an
outstanding opportunity for an exceptional professional to join our team as the
Director of Lifelong Learning & Skills. In this new, pivotal role, you will provide strategic leadership and oversight to support the required growth and high performance of the College’s Adult provision, with a focus on engagement, participation and delivery through building links with referral agencies and a variety of key stakeholders.
With wide ranging responsibilities that will
shape the adult education landscape in Staffordshire, you will play a vital role in developing specialised educational initiatives targeted towards the unemployed, providing them with the necessary skills and knowledge to re-enter the workforce successfully. Actively identifying strategic opportunities to expand and enhance the provision of lifelong learning, you will collaborate with our valued partners to
create a comprehensive and dynamic learning environment. Your commitment to quality improvement will be instrumental to ensuring that our educational offerings maintain the highest standards and constantly evolve to meet the evolving needs of our learners, employers and community partners.
You will possess a Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject, demonstrating your deep knowledge and expertise in this field. In addition, you will have a solid educational foundation with a minimum of 4 GCSEs at Grade C or above, or equivalent, including Maths and English. A Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training or an equivalent qualification, will further highlight your dedication to excellence in teaching and learning. Crucially, you must bring significant experience in leading and managing adult education provision, with a proven track record of success. Your ability to adapt quickly, solve problems, and think innovatively will be essential, to meet the strategic aims and values of the College.
