Deputy Head of School – Access to HE and Teacher Education

Salary - £46,675
The Role
The Deputy Head of School will support and deputise for the Head of School to ensure the successful running of the curriculum area, providing local leadership of teaching, learning and assessment and supporting the development and effective implementation of the school’s curriculum offer.
The Deputy Head of School will work with the Curriculum Team, Progress Leaders, Senior Progress Leaders and where appropriate, director of adults, to ensure high levels student satisfaction, achievement and sustainable progression.
As this role also includes teaching responsibilities, you will lead by example in achieving excellence in teaching and learning through your own innovative and excellent professional practice.

The School of Access is a diverse school (enrolments c.700) within The City of Liverpool College, exclusively enrolling adult learners. Teaching, learning and assessment within the School is outstanding and well aligned to local HEIs, meaning that learners progress into higher education or employment.
