Exciting Opportunity in Camden Community and Partnership Training Lead
Are you motivated and value-driven? Are you ready for a new and exciting challenge in the heart of Camden? We have a fantastic opportunity for a Community and Partnership Trainer to join our dynamic multi-disciplinary team. In this role, you will bring your creativity and flexibility to identify and deliver impactful training to multiple partners across Camden.
Our Camden service is a dynamic and multidisciplinary team consisting of service managers, consultant psychiatrists, doctors, nurses, healthcare assistants, recovery staff, volunteers, administrators, and peer mentors. Together, we're committed to providing the best possible support and interventions for individuals using our services.

Hours 37.5h per wek
Salary £34,700.09 - £36,635.38 (CGL Points 31 to 33) Dependent on experience plus Inner London Weighting of £4072.06, Pro Rata
This is a Fixed Term Contract until 31st March 2025.
About the Role
- Delivering training and awareness raising across multiple partners in Camden.
- Planning training sessions tailored to recipient staff teams
- Including
- Drug & Alcohol Awareness, Having difficult conversations
- Understanding the link between SM and trauma
- Systems – working with families including understanding intergenerational D&A use
- Overdose prevention and naloxone training (including Nitazene and fentanyl info)
- Blue light training
- Delivering IBA and BI training sessions
- Understanding medically assisted opioid treatment, Club Drugs, Chemsex, BBV prevention and treatment.
- Delivered to stat and non-stat H&SC partners and non-H&SC partners such as colleges, universities, community centres and community groups.
- Also delivering training to employers, training providers, schools and universities in the shape of training for managers and staff, when a knowledge gap is identified
Requirements
- Considerable experience in substance misuse services
- Effective presentation and facilitation skills
- Experience in delivering training and group work
- Excellent understanding of learning styles, adapting training to different learners
- Extensive knowledge of issues facing substance and alcohol misusers
- Understanding of Safeguarding policies and procedures
- Proficient in Information Technology, particularly Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
