Vacancy Details:
We are looking for a highly ambitious, self-motivated, and eager-to-succeed Business Development person to promote our logistics apprenticeships & bootcamp courses in the regions listed below:
Merseyside, Cheshire, Lancashire, Yorkshire
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Generate a pipeline of new business from a variety of different sources using a bespoke sales strategy.
- Maintain regular contact with current employers by phone, video call and in person to increase training opportunities.
- Travel to and participate in networking events, careers events, trade association events and company events to develop new business.
- Work alongside Marketing to provide content for digital marketing activities.
- Use LinkedIn and Sales Navigator to generate sales pipeline and leads.
- Generate success from sales calls and online engagement.
- Use the CRM database to record all meetings and customer/ learner contacts.
- New business generation through new and existing clients.
- Create new business tenders and opportunities.
- Work with the recruitment team to source candidates for vacancies.
- Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders, including the Delivery team.
- Keep abreast of all new relevant practices and innovations.
- Keep up to date with changes in funding, eligibility, legislation, and regional grants.
Selection Criteria:
The ideal person will have experience selling level 2, 3 and 5 apprenticeships to and bootcamps to large and SME within the logistics, retail or construction sectors.
