This Role: Assessment & Support Operations Manager -Full Time Post 37.5hrs per week

Salary: London - £54,882 - Nottingham £49,393
Are you ready to make a significant impact in a role that combines strategic vision with hands-on leadership? We are looking for an Operations Manager to spearhead the development and ongoing success of our Assessment & Support Team at MTVH.
About Us
MTVH is at the forefront of creating positive outcomes for our customers. The Assessment & Support Team acts as a gateway to internal support services, providing expertise on various support areas. As the Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the direction of the team and service, working closely with senior leaders.
Your Role
As the Operations Manager, you will be comfortable navigating both strategic initiatives and the day-to-day operations of the team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Strategic Development: Collaborate with the Head of Strategy & Support to shape the direction of the team, creating a central point for referral, assessment, and advice.
- Leadership: Lead your team through the development of services, steering them through change and challenges. Shape the culture and approach of the team.
- Performance Accountability: Ensure the delivery of consistent, responsive, and effective services, meeting both quantitative and quality-based targets. Monitor and oversee complex cases, developing processes to manage risks.
- Continuous Improvement: Continually seek to improve and develop the team's work, considering customer needs, the external environment, and feedback from stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Take a partnering approach to build the skills of colleagues, maintaining and developing resources to support frontline teams in their work with challenges

Requirements
- Operational management experience, particularly managing practitioners.
- Working knowledge of relevant issues such as domestic abuse, mental health, adult social care, Care & Support service delivery, or ASB.
- Experience coaching colleagues and partnering to build skills and confidence.
- Strong data literacy and understanding of data-driven services in a people-focused service.
- Knowledge of working with external statutory agencies on case management for complex cases.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation and statutory frameworks
- Experience or qualification in delivering clinical supervision to practitioners in a housing, care, or aligned environment.
To meet our commitment to providing safe, high quality services to our customers we will complete an Basic Level DBS check, once an offer of employment is made. A new check will be completed every three years.
