The role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint a qualified, experienced, talented, and highly motivated Lecturer of Business to join our Business & Technology Learning Area.
The successful candidate will be able to deliver and assess on range of courses from Level 2 - 5 in Business, predominately Vocational Business.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and teach across a range of courses ensuring schemes/records of work, assignment schedules, are appropriate to the syllabus content and awarding body standards.
- Ensure teaching and learning strategies and teaching materials are planned as well as accessible to meet the varied needs of all learners.
- Assess and monitor learner progress, including the setting of targets, maintaining records of work and achievement in line with internal and external schedules/ criteria and college targets
- Keep up to date with curriculum developments, subject knowledge and innovations in teaching and learning, including the use of digital technology and ensure teaching materials and strategies are updated appropriately.
About you:
- Professional qualification or first degree in relevant area or equivalent.
- Teaching/Training qualification or be prepared to work towards and/or knowledge of embedding Key Skills into the relevant curriculum.
- Ability to deliver Courses Levels 2-5
- Expertise in successful teaching

Full-Time Equivalent Salary: £24,049 - £47,331 per annum dependent on qualifications and experience.
