We are seeking to appoint a permanent Lecturer in Computer Science to strengthen teaching, research, and industry engagement in the rapidly evolving field of Artificial Intelligence (AI). The Lecturer in Computer Science, with a specialisation in AI, will contribute to the design and delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, support curriculum innovation aligned with emerging technologies and industry needs, and undertake high-quality research and scholarly activity in AI and related areas.
You will have:
- A PhD in computer science or closely related fields.
- Excellent research publications of international standing on Computer Science with Artificial Intelligence
- Comprehensive knowledge of core principles and fundamentals of computer science to teach effectively across the undergraduate and postgraduate curriculum
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to develop original teaching materials and methods
- Effective team member with the ability to contribute positively to collaborative teaching efforts, collegial professionalism and strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively and collaboratively within the Department and the broader University community.
