The Role
We are looking for an outstanding Senior Lecturer to provide inspirational leadership and practical management of our business degree apprenticeship portfolio. The successful candidate will have a record of skills, knowledge, and experience in course leadership and subject expertise in Marketing.
You will join a close-knit group of academics who develop and deliver on a varied programme of research-informed teaching sessions, workshops, seminars, and practitioner experiences. You will manage the portfolio of Degree Apprenticeships starting with the Retail Leadership Degree Apprenticeship.
You will plan, review, deliver, and assess a range of contemporary modules and be expected to expand the portfolio.
The Person
The Person appointed will make a significant contribution to the development of the business schools apprenticeship portfolio as well as being directly engaged with course development and lecturing activities. As such, they should have good leadership qualities and skills and be able to communicate and work effectively with other academics and employer partners. Experience of either apprenticeships and/or retail knowledge will be an advantage.
You will hold a master’s level qualification and have a track record of industry relevant experience. If you haven't already achieved the relevant level of UKPSF recognition, you will be required to do so before the end of your probation period.
On a personal level, going above and beyond to deliver exceptional leadership, teaching and support to our students will be your core motivation.
Constantly seeking to improve, you will scrutinise your own work and that of the course team, build private and public sector networks, and work collaboratively to enhance the faculty's reputation in higher education and apprenticeship circles.

This is a full time, permanent position with a starting salary of £50,160.00 per annum
