This is a key leadership role focused on driving high-quality inclusive provision across adult and apprenticeship programmes. You’ll play a central role in shaping strategy, supporting teams and ensuring learners with SEND receive the support they need to achieve and progress.
What you’ll do:
Lead and support inclusive learning across adult and apprenticeship provision Drive high-quality teaching, learning and assessment for learners with SEND Support curriculum teams to embed inclusive practice and meet learner needs Monitor performance, progress and outcomes, driving continuous improvement Contribute to the development of SEND and inclusion strategy across the College Work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders Support compliance with SEND legislation, funding and regulatory requirements Line manage and develop staff, supporting high performance and professional growth
What we’re looking for:
Experience in SEND, inclusion or additional learning support within FE or a similar setting Experience of leadership or management within education or support services Strong understanding of SEND legislation and inclusive practice Ability to drive quality improvement and positive learner outcomes Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills A collaborative and proactive approach to leadership A teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
