We’re supporting a fantastic training provider in Hull who is looking for a passionate and engaging Programme Tutor Assessor to join their team on a 12‑month FTC. This role focuses on supporting 16–19‑year‑olds on pre‑apprenticeship programmes, helping them build confidence, develop employability skills and progress into further training or employment.

What you’ll be doing
- Planning and delivering high‑quality teaching, learning and assessment (classroom, workplace and online)
- Supporting learners individually and in groups, helping them build skills and confidence
- Ensuring programmes meet awarding body and funding requirements
- Reviewing learner progress, setting targets and providing IAG to support progression
- Monitoring attendance, achievement and learner satisfaction
- Building strong relationships with employers and involving them in learner reviews
- Supporting recruitment of learners and helping maintain a healthy caseload
- Preparing for audits, moderation, verification and Ofsted requirements
- Maintaining accurate learner records and producing timely reports
- Contributing to quality improvement processes and programme development
What we’re looking for
- Experience delivering employability skills to young people (CV writing, interview prep, confidence building, teamwork etc.)
- Experience providing careers information, advice and guidance
- Ability to support learners with a wide range of needs
- Strong communication skills — written and verbal
- Confident using IT, including Microsoft Office
- Able to prioritise workload, meet deadlines and work proactively
- Must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to transport
- Teaching/assessor qualifications (DTLLS/CertEd/Level 5 Diploma / A1/CAVA) are ideal, or willingness to work towards them
