About the Role
We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Sports Coaches to join our Adventure Camps team delivering an exciting multi-activity holiday programme for children and young people during the Easter break. Coaches will help create a safe, energetic and inclusive environment where participants can develop skills, stay active, and most importantly have fun.
You will deliver a range of sports and adventure-style activities as part of a structured camp programme, supporting children of different ages and abilities. Activities may include team sports, outdoor games, skill-based challenges and group activities designed to build confidence, teamwork and physical literacy.
Key Responsibilities
· Deliver engaging multi-activity sports sessions as part of the Adventure Camps programme
· Support the planning and organisation of daily camp activities
· Ensure all sessions are safe, inclusive and appropriate for the age group
· Supervise children throughout activities, breaks and transitions
· Promote positive behaviour, teamwork and enjoyment of sport
· Follow all safeguarding, health and safety, and organisational policies
· Work collaboratively with other camp staff to create a fun and supportive environment
Requirements
· Experience working with children or young people in sport, coaching or activity settings
· Relevant sports coaching qualification or currently studying towards a qualification in sport, physical education, coaching, or a related field
· A valid First Aid certificate (or willingness to obtain prior to the programme)
· Safeguarding / Child Protection training (or willingness to complete)
· Strong communication and teamwork skills
· Energetic, positive and reliable approach to working with young people
Desirable
· Previous experience delivering multi-sport or holiday camp programmes
· NGB (National Governing Body) coaching awards in sports such as football, basketball, athletics or similar
· Experience working with children aged 5–14
