Lecturer/Associate Professor in Process Intensification
The key responsibilities of the role include leading on the development of impactful research within chemical engineering and its application to process intensification particularly applied to novel reactor technologies. You will be expected to conduct and publish high-quality world-class research that complements existing departmental and Faculty activities, while securing research grant funding to support your programme. The role also involves developing national and international partnerships with industry, academic institutions, and other relevant organisations to maximise research impact. Additionally, you will support postdoctoral researchers, as well as PhD, MSc, and undergraduate students, and contribute to the teaching of current or new modules relevant to the post. Furthermore, the successful candidate will be expected to contribute to teaching both existing and new taught modules in areas relevant to the post, as well as participating in departmental administrative, outreach, and enterprise activities.
This post is a UCL grade 8 (Lecturer) or grade 9 (Associate Professor) post as per UCL's non-clinical grade structure.

The key skills required for the post are a first degree and a postgraduate degree in Chemical Engineering; an appropriate background and research expertise to make contributions at the forefront of research with emphasis related to process intensification applied to novel reactor technologies; combined with excellent people skills and the ability to build good relationships with students, colleagues and external partners.

UCL currently supports a relocation supplement of up to £10,000 may be payable where it is necessary to relocate from within the UK, and up to £20,000 if from outside of the UK, to take up an appointment at UCL.
