Information, Advice and Guidance Officer - In Work Support
Hourly Pay: £17.18 PAYE

They are seeking an Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) Officer to support individuals in sustaining, upskilling, or progressing within their employment. Day-to-day of the role:
- Provide impartial, professional information, advice, and guidance to participants accessing skills support.
- Work collaboratively with internal and external partners to ensure high-quality support.
- Connect participants with opportunities that promote progression and enhance their employment pathway.
- Positively represent the service and programme offer.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of programme requirements and contribute to delivery targets.
- Support the continuous improvement of employment and skills projects.
- Plan and manage workload effectively and efficiently.
- Identify and escalate risks or opportunities to programme managers.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in a fast-paced employment or skills environment.
- Strong understanding of employment support programmes and their requirements.
- Ability to provide high-quality, impartial advice and guidance.
- Excellent collaboration skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage and prioritise workload effectively.
- Strong communication and representation skills.
- Ability to identify and escalate relevant risks and opportunities.
