IQA - Property Maintenance

Location: Remote (UK-based)
Contract: Freelance / Part-time
Rate: £350 - £400 per day

The Role

As an Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) - Property Maintenance, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the quality of assessment and delivery across property maintenance qualifications and/or apprenticeship standards.

Key responsibilities include:
• Monitoring and supporting assessors to ensure consistent, high-quality assessment practice
• Conducting sampling, standardisation, and verification activities in line with awarding body and regulatory requirements
• Providing constructive feedback, coaching, and development support to assessment staff
• Ensuring compliance with internal IQA processes, policies, and procedures
• Supporting continuous improvement activity and contributing to audit and inspection readiness
• Working collaboratively with delivery and quality teams to uphold best practice and learner outcomes

This is a remote, freelance role, offering flexibility while maintaining professional impact.

Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will bring strong sector knowledge and a quality-driven mindset.

Essential:
• Occupational competence and industry experience in Property Maintenance or a related construction trade
• A recognised IQA qualification (TAQA, D34, V1, Level 4 Award in Internal Quality Assurance, or equivalent)
• Experience quality assuring vocational qualifications and/or apprenticeships
• A strong understanding of awarding body, EPAO, and regulatory requirements
• Excellent communication, organisation, and coaching skills
• A proactive, detail-oriented approach with a genuine commitment to quality and standards
