The Role
As an Academy Skills Coach, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding training, learning, and assessment practices that engage and inspire apprentices. Your core focus will be on developing the essential skills, knowledge, and behaviours our learners need to successfully achieve their qualifications and progress their careers within the business.
This is a dynamic, home-based role requiring travel, where you will manage your own diary effectively while receiving comprehensive support from the Academy Team.
Your main responsibilities as an Academy Skills Coach will involve :
Exceptional Training Delivery : Design, deliver, and assess learning in line with national standards and qualification frameworks, ensuring the highest quality training experience.
Performance Coaching : Provide robust, developmental, and timely monthly support and reviews for both learners and their line managers, ensuring continuous progress and motivation.
Driving Engagement : Proactively engage learners and line managers to ensure commitment, motivation, and compliance with 'off-the-job' training requirements.
Quality Assurance : Commit to the continuous improvement of training and assessment strategies to maintain our industry-leading standards.
Welfare and Support : Provide and monitor effective safeguarding, well-being, and support arrangements for all learners.
Team Collaboration : Support the wider Academy Team by attending and contributing to internal events and learner-focused activities.

Essential :
You possess a recognised Assessor or Teaching Qualification.
You hold a relevant Leadership and Management qualification.
You demonstrate effective time management, strong IT skills, and a high level of organisation.
You have a full UK Driving Licence and the ability to travel across assigned sites.

Salary : £18,000 - £20,000 per annum
Holiday : Generous 25 days paid annual leave plus bank holidays.
Role : Permanent / Part-Time (21 hours per week).
