Key Responsibilities:

Design and facilitate professional development workshops and training sessions for faculty on innovative pedagogical approaches. Evaluate the effectiveness of digital learning initiatives and provide recommendations for improvement. Collaborate with IT services, library staff, and other departments to ensure seamless integration of technology in the academic environment. Supervise postgraduate students undertaking research in digital education or related fields. Contribute to curriculum development and review processes, ensuring a forward-thinking approach to pedagogy. Stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices in educational technology and digital learning worldwide. Champion a culture of innovation and continuous improvement in teaching and learning practices across the institution. Qualifications and Skills:
A PhD in Education, Educational Technology, Digital Pedagogy, or a closely related field is essential. A strong record of academic publications and research in digital learning and pedagogy. Minimum of 7 years of experience in higher education teaching and curriculum development, with a significant focus on digital and online learning. Proven experience in instructional design, learning technologies, and learning management systems (e.g., Moodle, Blackboard, Canvas). Demonstrated ability to design and deliver effective professional development programs for educators. Excellent understanding of learning theories and their application in digital environments. Strong analytical, research, and critical thinking skills. Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
