Main duties and responsibilities
You will deliver high‑quality teaching and training across a range of programmes. In addition to adult aural diagnostics and rehabilitation, you will bring expertise in paediatric audiology and/or diagnostic audiology (evoked response audiometry). You will contribute to programme development, including the creation of new programmes and short courses. The role also encompasses key responsibilities with the academic placement team, requiring professional practice experience.
The Audiology section of the school provides excellent facilities and opportunities for research.
Salary and contract
The position is full‑time, permanent. Salary is £39,906 – £56,535 depending on appointment as Lecturer or Senior Lecturer.
Ideal candidate
Enthusiastic, experienced in Audiology with an all‑round grounding in the subject. A postgraduate qualification is desirable but significant clinical experience is essential. You must be passionate about teaching and training, creative, and willing to develop networks. A satisfactory basic DBS check will be required.
