Responsibilities
- Deliver undergraduate teaching across core biological sciences at Levels 3 and 4, including the Pharmacy with Preparatory Year programme.
- Support postgraduate teaching and contribute to the School’s teaching and learning activities.
- Assist in curriculum development and assessment in biological sciences programmes.
- Play an active role in the School’s research profile, undertaking research activities aligned with strategic priorities.
Ideal Candidate
- BSc (Hons) in Pharmacology or Biochemistry (PhD in a pharmacology‑related field preferred).
- Experience in higher‑education teaching and assessment.
- Demonstrated commitment to research that aligns with the Faculty’s strategic priorities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, self‑motivation, and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to academic citizenship and active contribution to the wider academic community.
- Recognised teaching qualification desirable but not essential.
