This is a fully remote role, perfect for someone looking to make a significant impact in the design and quality of apprenticeship programs.
The Role
As the Curriculum and Content Leader, you will play a pivotal role in guiding and mentoring a team of up to six trainers and educational specialists. You will focus on redesigning learner pathways that integrate modern learning techniques and AI tools. Collaboration with a variety of stakeholders, including directors, program managers, and employers, is essential to create impactful learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Delivery
- Lead the design of engaging and high-quality apprenticeship and training programs.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to create self-study modules and online training content that meets educational standards.
- Standardize training processes across the organization to ensure consistent high-quality delivery.
- Utilize AI and Learning Management Systems to improve team efficiency and enhance the learner experience.
- Continuously assess program content and delivery based on feedback from learners, employers, and stakeholders to drive improvements.
- Conduct discovery calls with stakeholders to enhance curriculum content.
- Support the sales team in client engagements as needed.
- Stay informed about changes to Ofsted, industry, and government regulations regarding apprenticeships.
Strategic Leadership
- Develop a consistent approach to delivering learning across the organization while promoting best practices.
- Research and initiate development of new apprenticeship and commercial courses tailored to employer and learner needs.
- Implement pedagogical best practices to ensure the curriculum is relevant and up-to-date.
Team Management
- Inspire and guide a team of training specialists toward excellence in curriculum delivery.
- Cultivate a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Mentor team members to enhance their skills and performance.
Essential Skills & Competencies
- Strong engagement skills to effectively collaborate with various departments.
- Commercially savvy with a passion for integrating technology and AI into learning.
- Comprehensive understanding of apprenticeship programs and compliance standards.
- Exceptional organizational and project management abilities, managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Detail-oriented with expertise in curriculum planning.
Qualifications & Experience
- A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, CertEd, Level 5 Education & Training) or equivalent.
- Experience managing a team of 5+ individuals for 5+ years.
- Proficiency in designing and developing apprenticeship programs, inclusive of digital and blended learning content.
- Demonstrable success in improving learning quality, compliance, and outcomes.
- Experience with apprenticeship platforms and AI to optimize learning delivery and learner journeys.
